We have had rain and storms here all week and all the poor people here on holiday have been wandering around town in the one sweatshirt or cardigan, that they brought with them for "just in case" not knowing what to do with themselves, not fun and I even end up feeling guilty... Hehe as if I control the weather!

Seven Things You Don't Know About Me

I have been asked to list seven things you don't know about me for the lovely Paul & Paula, here goes.

1.  I don't like going to sleep.

2.  I hate waking up!  (I know weird huh!)

3.  I have vinegar on all my meals.

4.  I have never drunk a cup of coffee, but love coffee cake.

5.  I am only 5ft tall or 1.52m.

6.  I am currently dying my hair red then brown for the winter (have to do red or it goes green being blonde).

7.  I have sailed all over the world and been sea sick in every country.







Yes I was on deck at this time.   Corsica in September and there were two others at the same time.  Fun, fun, fun.  You have got to love Mother Nature.



That was harder than it looks and the Mr was no help.  See you all tomorrow.

It's My Birthday

It's my birthday today, 39 and counting!  Not sure how I feel about this year the last of my 30s.  My 30s have been wonderful, full of love, adventures and a wonderful husband to boot.  Onwards and up, the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.  Time to grab that balloon and float off to new adventures with an old love.  Happy day everyone, only 40 more until Christmas!   Time for more cake I think...

Beautiful Sunny Sunday

Well it is a stunning day here today.  We all went for a lovely walk and sat and soaked up some sun.  So I thought I would share it with you all and spread some sun around.  Its also a pretty special place where we are lucky enough to live.



























They have forecast rain for the whole of next week so a day like today is all the more fabulous.  Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

New Look

So I have been playing around and changed the look of Dragonfly Lifestyle.  What do you think, better before or do you like the new preppy colour scheme?  The image is me and my lovely little Poppy dog, I have of course made my legs much longer and I always wear stripes.  Poppy has shrunk a bit but still looks very stylish I think.  Any views, as you have to look at it and I am always happy to have your feed back.

November

Well it's November already, wow October went really quickly.  I do love November as it is Birthday month for the Mr and I and Guy Fawkes Night.  I hope we managed to go to the bonfire and firework display this year, it is held be our local cricket club and last year had to be called off due to dangerously windy conditions.


So happy Monday and I thought I would share a lovely frosty picture with you.  I do miss a nice sparkly, frosty morning, so pretty although not much fun when you have to scrape it off the car windscreen.

Last days of Summer

I have just spent a wonderful week with my lovely sister, and have been reminded of how beautiful this Island is. We hung out at the beach, read many books and magazines and just wandered around.  Here are some of the photos we took and I hope you enjoy a small view of life in Palma de Mallorca.

Back to School

Well, I have gone back to school!  Its an online course over a month, but there is homework!  It's been a long time since I studied anything apart from magazines, so I am a little nervous.  The course is Blogging your Way and run by the very talented people from decor8 and a creative mint.   So far I have managed to get all the admin out of the way for the first class on Tuesday.  My husband is already calling me the "special" one in the class as it took three emails just for me to log on.  Onwards and up though.







The image above was taken by Leslie Shrewing, one of the tutors on the course and the talent behind A Creative Mint.   So I look forward to learning some new and wonderful blogging skill.  Wish me bonne chance friends.
