I have a very interesting story to tell about this bag.
My brother asked me to paint a bag for a friends daughter. His friends daughters name is 'Effie'. All who know my brother know that he is not about the details so, I had nothing to go on. Since her name was so unique I decided to look it up. 'Effie' means well spoken so I thought this would be cute written in French.
Well, actually my brother came up with the French idea. Anyway, when I told him what her name meant he said that was cool because their last name is 'Speaks'. So, naturally I thought that my brother's friend had looked 'Effie' up and chose it because of the meaning but, she had never looked it up and was Thrilled! Not only that but, I didn't know the nursery colors and the peacock feathers match her room perfectly. Isn't that a cool story!!!
